I've been researching D20 modern, seeing as I'm trying to combine both rulesets and I've found that the wealth system of D20 modern is done rather differently. As such, I'd like to know which system you would all prefer. A Reference to the D20 system

I've got an update for you all. It's a composite from the D20 modern book and it makes a compelling argument for the wealth point system. You're able to retract your vote, in case you'd like to change your mind. Anyhow, see below... I'm going to ponder on this, but considering the complex way money will work in modern settings, I may very well vote for the new system. This wealth system would also make it easier to regulate buying things for the Era System. It's much easier to impose a purchase check modifier than it is to come up with some formula to dick about with the price. In addition, the GM's guide for D20M gives tables and whatnot to set purchase DCs along with prices for stuff. Which means that so long as I can work out an exchange rate (which we'll have to do anyway for every Build) we can easily set purchase DCs.
