Well, we've got the basics of the default setting in the works.
What we also need, though, is the more complex Build to accompany it.
In other words; we have our "Greyhawk" in the works...now we need our "Faerun."
First thing's first though. We need to figure out the basics: -
What kinds of things would like to see in this world of ours?
What are we going to call the various areas?
What kind of classes do we want?
What E-level will it be?
...and other issues that for the life of me, don't spring to mind, right now...
--------------------------------
Personally, I'm thinking that Collyer's catfolk would be a good addition. Also, the void elves (if they're included) would be better off in that Build too.
As for E-level...about 5 or 6 feels right to me. [That being said, we really must agree on how the numbers will work...]

Well, using the Name of the Continent, Planet, or even it's Largest city would work. Depending on what their called, and which sounds best. If the Nekomata, and Void Elves are used, then the Era system would run between the E5 and E7 or E8 as you've listed them. OK, names (Pulled from Hammerspace ): Planet: Orana Continent 1: Laris Continent 2 (If we have one): Morla I'm seeing Basic fantasy, and If the Void Elves are also added in, We would have a Large Technological City for them, Unless I missed something. I'll try and Think of Other things later.

I've had an idea for the Void Elves... How about, they live on something not unlike an upturned mountain, in a low orbit around the planet? Failnig that, there's always the two planet thing to consider...

Well, I think that the Upturned orbit mountain thing would be better suited, Instead of another planet. It would be as if they had gained the technlogy before heading into orbit.

Hmm, and because they can survive in space, they just live there...observing the primitives down below?
They could send people down to trade, if we do them as open folk...or they could pretend to be ordinary elves.
Or perhaps some of them just enjoy being down there with the primitives...

The Elven Station could be above the Main capital of the Surface Kingdom, or Multiple Stations, if there happen to be Multiple capitals, And send Emissarys to trade with the Surface world. There may be Void Elves who feel themselves Above the surface world, In more then just the Literal sense, and possibly those who feel that they must hide themselves from their Actual Race. Possibly due to the Reason that Surface Dwellers Don't like them for whatever reason we can come up with.

That's not bad. It's not unlike the story with the elves from the Faerun setting, now that I think of it. As it goes, I'd rather like to write a desert region. An area a bit like the middle east. As it goes, I'm playing a character from such a region in Ori's campaign, if he'll let me but I'd rather like to explore it more. I'll take a look at my notes and begin doing that. We need to work out a rudimentary map methinks. That being said, how about a world set after some kind of deity-involved calamity? I was thinking of having regions remade in the image of certain deity's ideals or elements and now that they're gone or ascended in to the heavens, they've eithr been left as they are or they're slowly changing. (Edit: Or maybe they're still there...) Thoughts?

Seems like an interesting Idea, and it could be Why the Void Elves moved into space, Depending on the amount of time Previously that it occured.
If there is a Diety of fire, they could have Dried up the Deserts, and Left Vast 'Forests' of Petrified, or Burnt, dead, trees.

Hmmm. I was thinking more along the lines of ice regions, regions made of pure shadow, regions of molten lava...that kind of thing.
It'd lead to a varied world and a wide variety of character designs and whatnot.

Sounds good, though I'm unsure about the Pure Shadow thing. A Massive pertrified forest could fit in though. Possibly including a Race of Dwarves that live in the Petrified trees, Maybe.

I like it. Ok, we'll go with that.
It means we need to figure out rules for things being petrified. i'm sure it's around somewhere...

Well in the case of the trees, It would just mean that the Hardness and Hit points changes from Wood to Stone, I think. I need to think about the Dwarves now.

I appear to be a bit late Oh well, I had an idea that we could do two worlds which are in different dimensions. Kinda like Stark and Arcadia in The Longest Journey, which for those not in the know are two worlds one of magic and one of science. I think it would fit nicely as I don't like the idea of having one technologically advanced race as it kinda makes things a bit unfair. For instance, "Look I have a big sword!" "Look I have a BFG!" "Oh"*Cue explosion*. Anyway I may have got the void elves all wrong but they seem to spacey for my liking. What about having two worlds identically set out but with different things in each one, so in one the Void Elves have their huge upside down mountain and in the other world Tree elves would be in the same spot the mountain would be but instead there'd be a huge tree instead. But whatever I may have just gone off the deep end so feel free to ignore me.

With sigh a high-end society, there'd likely be rules about interfering and whatnot, but I see your point.
How about this then:
There are two planets. They either exist in different realsm or orbit the same sun (at this juncture, it's not important which). There is a portal between them and said portal is located in what could be "embassy cities."
The void elves would have an embassy city on the primitive world, allowing for the trade of food, and art...occasionally they'd offer humanitarian aid when their conscious couldn't allow them to stand idly by.
Meanwhile, on the technologically advanced world, the primitives would have an embassy city too.
This means that the GM and players firstly get to choose what kind of world they want to play in but leaves enough room open for a player to still play a swordie in a "high-tech" world.
(Although whenever I try to imagine this high-tech world, it always appears more steam punk to me...perhaps with more blinking lights though...)
Of course, surrounding these areas are rules and whatnot.
And I imagine they'd have been set up to keep the peace. So long as trade is closely monitored, it could only stand to be a good thing for both parties. It also gives the criminal element something good to play as.
